“If it doesn’t serve me, dump it. If it does, can I delegate it? If not, I’ll do it.”

We all have the same and limited time. I’ve condensed how I protect it into three actionable decisions: Dump. Delegate. Do.

  1. Dump – The first question I ask when a task lands on my plate: Does this serve my goals or move my business forward?
If the answer is no, I remove it immediately. This isn’t about laziness; it’s about strategic elimination.
  2. Delegate – If a task does serve the vision, the next question is: Can someone else execute this to the required standard?
If yes, I delegate it with clarity: outcome, deadline, and boundaries.
  3. Do – Only when a task both serves the mission and cannot be delegated without loss of quality, alignment, or speed do I personally commit to execution. This is reserved energy. This is where I apply my focus and discipline.
